Surgery Requirements
- Dr. Reid is a member of WPATH and follows WPATH guidelines for surgery. He often performs surgery on informed consent but may require a support letter from a qualified mental health professional recommending surgery.
- Good physical and psychological health.
- Age 18 and over.
- Genderqueer / NOHO? No problem, Dr. Reid doesn't require hormone therapy for Top Surgery patients.
Steps to Booking Surgery
- Book your phone or in-person consultation. The consultation fee of $150 is applied to the cost of your surgery.
- Arrange Top Surgery financing: Dr. Reid accepts credit cards (VISA, MasterCard, American Express) as well as medical financing through CareCredit and Alpheon. Dr. Reid does not accept Insurance, Medicare or Medicaid.
- Secure a surgery date. Dr. Reid's wait list for a surgery date is a just a few weeks.
