Dr. Dev Gurjala, MD is a board-certified Plastic Surgeon in San Francisco who is dedicated to advancing gender surgery techniques. He works exclusively with transgender and non-binary patients. Dr. Gurjala performed gender surgery, microsurgery, and general reconstructive and aesthetic surgery in the Kaiser Permanente system for five years before joining Align Surgical Associates in 2019.
Dr. Gurjala performs multiple methods of Top Surgery, including Double Incision, Buttonhole and Keyhole. In addition to Top Surgery, Dr. Gurjala also offers ALT Phalloplasty and Facial and Body Masculinization procedures.

Surgery Requirements
Patients are required to supply a letter of support from a mental health therapist, and a letter from the primary care physician or endocrinologist. A mammogram is required for Top Surgery patients who are 50 years and older. Dr. Gurjala will operate on minors with parental consent.

Dr. Gurjala accepts insurance for Top Surgery and some managed Medi-Cal plans.
